Building from our in-house self-assessment, you’ll visualise your current systems, identify gaps, and plan actionable steps to achieve your goals. WORKSHOP DETAILS

  • Session 1: Understanding Ambition and Maturity

    • Introduction to the drivers of organisational ambition in human rights.

    • Self-assessment to benchmark your current systems.

    • Identify gaps between your current maturity and your desired goals.

Please Note: To get the most out of Week 1, attendees will be expected to complete a self-assessment of your modern slavery governance systems using our online tool. Details will be shared closer to the start date.

  • Session 2: Navigating Complexity and Impact

    • Reflect on team’s insights and align them with a reviewed understanding of your organisation’s ambition.

    • Prioritise key actions to address the gaps identified in Session 1.

    • Begin drafting a strategic roadmap to guide your organisation’s journey from current maturity to desired outcomes.

  • Session 3: Building Accountability and Partnerships

    • Break down complex activities and seek additional guidance.

    • Draft KPIs to measure the effectiveness of your actions.

    • Understand the importance of executive sponsorship and key partnerships.

 

NICK DEXTER

ABOUT NICK DEXTER

Nick Dexter is a Principal Consultant at Edge Impact and Board Member at Be Slavery Free Australia. With expertise in procurement, human rights, and social sustainability, Nick helps clients implement anti-slavery strategies across a wide variety of sectors including property, construction, agriculture, and retail. He recently developed the Pathway to Respecting Human Rights for the Property Council of Australia and contributed to RIAA's Artificial Intelligence and Human Rights Investor Toolkit.

Nick is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Wollongong, focusing on creating an accountability framework that leverages worker voice data to address exploitation and modern slavery. His research aims to integrate insights from vulnerable workers to enhance compliance and foster sustainable, human-centered business practices.
